Today: The Rally to Support Trump On the Ocean

The Rally for Trump On The Ocean (http://www.trumpontheocean.com), with special guest Donald Trump will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, September 14th at 11am at the same location as originally planned – the Central Mall Flagpole on the Jones Beach Boardwalk. Due to effects of Hurricane Irene, the rally had to be postponed because of the loss of power and severe damage many experienced to their homes.

“The community is overwhelmingly enthusiastic about the project, and the original date was expecting widespread participation,” says Rafe Lieber, Founder of The Alliance To Revitalize Jones Beach (jonesbeachalliance.org). Lieber formed The Alliance To Revitalize Jones Beach (ARJB) when he became increasingly frustrated with the stagnant economy in Nassau County, especially after local residents rejected the use of taxpayer dollars to build a new Nassau Coliseum.

With the recent devastation experienced on Jones Beach as a result of Hurricane Irene, Trump On The Ocean will also have the potential to offset the tax dollars that will undoubtedly be spent on replenishing the beaches. The facility will have stimulating effects on the local economy by creating jobs for citizens, and providing tax dollars for the town.

“When we get Trump On The Ocean built it will be a beautiful addition to the shore line on Jones Beach,” says Lieber. “Nassau citizens need to unite and fight against governmental red tape, which stops economic growth in the form of real estate & construction.”

Trump On The Ocean is projected to create 300 new jobs over a two-year span and stimulate the economy by $60 million. The project has since been held up for five years because of state appeals regarding building permits.

“Who knows better than Donald Trump when it comes to seeking out worthwhile opportunities, while doing his part to help stimulate the economy,” Lieber says. “He will be an honored guest and a welcome addition to our rally. His presence will cause the event to be a huge success. Bureaucrats in Albany cannot ignore the people’s needs forever. It is for this reason that local residents are mobilizing and organizing support in droves. Trump On The Ocean, which will cost taxpayers nothing, will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood and a contributor to local entities.”

“We are in total support of Trump On The Ocean. It would undoubtedly be good for the area. This would help stimulate the economy and create jobs; not only at Jones Beach but for other businesses on Long Island,” says Mario Saccente, Executive VP of the Long Island Chapter of the NY State Restaurant Association.

Donald Trump has graciously agreed to participate, to show his appreciation for the local residents who are supporting his initiative.

“I am honored by the support shown by this Alliance,” says Trump. “This process has been extremely frustrating. If I am successful in having the state adhere to my few truly simple requests, I will build a magnificent structure on Jones Beach that will make all residents proud.”

The day will offer speeches by others, along with the chance for locals to meet and speak with The Donald himself.
